Map11
A community-driven map of football clubs worldwide
What is Map11?
Map11 is a map of football clubs at every level of the game — from the top divisions down to regional leagues, district competitions and amateur clubs that rarely appear in mainstream football databases. Every club sits on the map at its home ground, and anyone can add or correct one.
- The mapZoom out for the top flights, zoom in to drill down through the pyramid to the smallest local clubs. Filter by country, league or tier.
- Club pagesStadium, league, kits, rivals and derbies, stadium history and photos — one page per club.
- Countries & leaguesBrowse every country and its leagues, from the national top tier down.
- Groundhopping logSign in to mark the stadiums you've visited, keep a wishlist of grounds to see, and share your profile.
- StatsClub counts by country and tier, plus a scoreboard of the people who add and fix clubs.
How to contribute
- 1 Open the map and search the sidebar to check if the club already exists — it may be listed but missing coordinates.
- 2 If the club exists but has wrong or missing data, click on it and use "Suggest Change" to submit a correction.
- 3 If the club doesn't exist at all, use the "Add club" button (top right) to submit a new entry.
- 4 All submissions are reviewed before going live. Include a logo URL and coordinates for faster approval.
League tiers
Each club is tagged with its position in its country's football pyramid. Tier 1 always means the top division — regardless of what the league is locally called. England's Premier League, Spain's La Liga, and Germany's Bundesliga are all Tier 1.
Data & sources
Map11 started as an attempt to map every football club in Portugal. The original Portuguese data came from ZeroZero.pt; today clubs are added from any reliable source — SofaScore, Transfermarkt, federation sites and the community's own knowledge.
Much of the data was collected automatically, so expect the odd wrong pin, outdated stadium name or missing club — coverage is deepest in Portugal and patchier elsewhere. If you spot something, use "Suggest Change" on the club. Every correction is reviewed and helps.
Clubs' towns come from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0) and, for newly added clubs, from Nominatim with data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL). Map tiles © OpenStreetMap contributors, © CARTO.
Who's behind it
Map11 is an independent project, built and maintained by Afonso Nóbrega. Ideas, bug reports and data fixes are always welcome.
