New domain: map11.net

Map11 has moved to map11.net. All old links from soccer-map.nobrega.me redirect automatically — no action needed. Update your bookmarks when you get a chance.

User accounts & Scoreboard

You can now create an account on Map11. Approved contributions earn you points: +4 for a new club, +2 for an edit or duplicate merge, +1 for a kit or league edit. See how you rank on the Scoreboard.

League edit suggestions & duplicate reports

Click any league card on the About page to suggest an edit (name, country, tier, logo) or report a duplicate. Approved duplicate reports move all clubs from the removed league to the correct one and award +2 pts.

~1,700 Australian clubs added — thank you u/MegaTalk

A huge thank you to Reddit user u/MegaTalk for compiling and sharing a database of ~1,700 Australian football clubs. We've done our best to filter out duplicates before importing, but with a dataset this size a few may have slipped through. If you spot a duplicate, please use the Suggest Change button on the club's popup.

League support

Clubs can now be linked to a League. When submitting or editing a club, search for an existing league or create a new one — new leagues go through admin approval first. The league name and logo now appear directly on the club popup, and the sidebar includes a league filter to browse clubs by competition.

Rival Team & Derby Name on submissions

When adding or editing a club, you can now optionally specify a Rival Team (searchable from existing clubs) and a Derby Name (e.g. "El Clásico"). This data appears on the club popup once approved.

35+ new countries in the country selector

Clubs can now be registered from many previously missing countries, including Cape Verde, Guinea, Togo, Benin, Gambia, Gabon, Niger, Chad, Zambia, Botswana, Lesotho, Eswatini, Somalia, South Sudan, Comoros, Mauritius, São Tomé and Príncipe, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, Timor-Leste, Papua New Guinea, and more.

Mark National Teams

In honour of the World Cup, you can now mark clubs as National Team directly on the map and in filters. Help identify each country's national teams.

New kits must follow FC12 / FM12 format

Kit submissions are now limited to FC12 / FM12-style images to keep visuals consistent across the map.

Latest updates gets a dedicated Kits tab

The Latest page now separates kits from additions and edits, making recent shirt submissions much easier to review.

Country coverage expanded with Solomon Islands and Laos

Solomon Islands and Laos are now supported in country selectors, flags, and stats displays.

Recent improvements

League filter improvements

The league filter dropdown now shows the country flag alongside the country name for quick scanning. Leagues are sorted by country → tier → name, making it much easier to find a specific division. The league logo no longer has a border or background frame.

Rival club search in submission forms

The new "Rival Team" field uses a live search that filters existing clubs as you type, so you can quickly link a rival without knowing the exact club ID.

Kit comparison in Latest

Each pending kit can now show the current shirt and the new suggestion side by side.

Kit URL live preview in submit form

When adding a kit link, you now get an instant image preview before submitting.

Faster map rendering and loading

Markers and club lists load more smoothly, especially when zoomed out or with larger datasets.

Roadmap

Rival info & derbies visible on club popup

Once rivalry data is collected via submissions, the club popup will display the rival club and derby name alongside other info.

More quality-of-life updates on Latest

Continuing to improve readability and clarity for recent additions, edits, and kit submissions.
